Scholarships and Awards

To encourage as students as possible to participate, iSMART offers the following awards and scholarships to let you get 250USD and save 1340USD publishing fee

for journal “City and Built Environment”

A: Best Paper Awards

The conditions for receiving BEST PAPER are as follows:

1. The full paper must be submitted to the journal City and Built Environment before September 30, 2024. And the full paper must undergo peer review and be

accepted before the iSMART2024 conference (December 10, 2024).

If the paper is accepted, the article processing charge (APC) of 1340USD for publishing the paper will be afforded by the organizers of the iSMART2024 conference.

As soon as you confirm that your paper has been accepted, please notify us of this good news before selecting the APC payment method. We will review your

eligibility for the award and guide you through the subsequent steps.

2. Please don’t forget to write the manuscript number of the journal City and Built Environment in the participation information form.

3. Onsite presentation of the paper and attendance during the Awards is required for Best Paper awardees.

Best Paper awardees will receive:

1. An award certificate and 250USD prize will be given to the author or a representative of the author group at the welcome party.

2. The best papers will be published in the SPRINGER journal City and Built Environment. The article processing charge (APC) of 1340USD for publishing the paper

will be afforded by the organizers of the iSMART2024 conference.

B: Best Presentation Award

1. The Best Presentation Awards will be given to one presenter from each general session, based on the recommendations by session chairs.

2. An award certificate will be given to the Best Presentation at the farewell dinner.
